Description
The purpose of this course is to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the signs and symptoms of, evaluation and treatment of, and how to manage concussion and post-concussion syndrome. The course is divided into 6 sections: (1) What is Concussion/Pathophysiology of Concussion, (2) Identifying Subtypes of Concussion, (3) Screening all Systems Affected with Concussion, (4) Evaluation and Treatment of Post-Traumatic Headache, (5) Exertion Assessment and Training, and (6) Psychogenic Aspects of Concussion. Participants will walk away from this course with the ability to better understand and utilize this information, to better treat this patient population.
