Ashwin graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in human movement studies in 2003. He continued to the University of the Pacific to finish his doctoral degree in physical therapy in 2007. Ashwin’s primary focus is outpatient orthopedic and rehabilitative physical therapy, specializing in the treatment of a wide variety of injuries, surgeries and pathologies. He emphasizes a whole-body approach when treating patients. Ashwin started his Great Lake Seminars journey in 2008 and achieved his certification in Integrated Manual Therapy (CIMT) in 2010. Since then, he has assisted many courses for GLS and is excited for his role as a lead instructor. When he is not in the clinic, Ashwin enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, surfing, snowboarding, golfing, gardening and being outside.
