Cheryl earned a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University and a Masters Degree at Neumann College, a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Athletic Training at Moravian College, and an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy at Lehigh County Community College. In addition to being a physical therapist, Cheryl is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist, an Ergonomic Specialist and has an extensive background in athletic training. Cheryl treats using manual therapy and dry needling techniques with emphasis on the body as a whole. Her treatment approach offers a comprehensive treatment to patients of all disciplines and moves beyond the symptoms to identify the barrier that limits motion and causes dysfunction. Ms. Hancock works with the design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs as well as core stabilization and activation. She has designed training videos that focus on proper mechanics and muscle activation utilized by the uprising athlete to the professional. Cheryl is the owner of Core Physical Therapy, an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Danville, VA.
