Differentiating Knee Pain: Ankle and Foot vs Knee vs Hip

Knee pain is often multifactorial and can originate from the knee itself—or from dysfunctions in the hip, ankle, or foot. This webinar is designed to provide clinicians with a thorough, evidence-based approach to accurately identifying the source of knee pain and improving diagnostic precision. Divided into five comprehensive sections, the webinar guides participants through deciphering mechanical vs non-mechanical conditions from the subjective exam, understanding pain referral patterns that mimic knee pathology, and performing a full orthopedic evaluation of the hip, knee, and foot.

Participants will also gain confidence in using evidence-based screening tools and special tests to effectively rule in or rule out contributing joints, followed by guidance on interpreting exam findings and applying clinical reasoning. By the end of the webinar, therapists will have practical tools to enhance their differential diagnosis process and deliver more targeted, effective treatment for patients with lower extremity dysfunction.
